When we opened our doors back in 2014 our main aim was to get the best food produce we could find in Yorkshire and then pair it with real ales, lagers, spirits and wines from around Great Britain. Proudly flying the Yorkshire flag has served us well & even earned us a few awards along the way.

Great Beef is our thing, offering our guests a fantastic variety of ever changing cuts & breeds, but we are equally obsessed about our other seasonally inspired plates featured on our A la Carte menu, focusing on locally caught fish and unique vegetarian dishes.

Get Roasted

Sunday is all about rest and relaxation – so let us do the work whilst you settle in for an afternoon of indulgence & ‘Get Roasted’. Join us for the ‘Best Sunday Roast in York’… or so we’re told. From Midday we serve traditional Roast Dinners with all the trimmings, using Yorkshires freshest, finest produce. Our Bar

Our bar is an eclectic mix of Yorkshire Ales & Lagers – right through to over 50 bespoke gins- as we continue to be York’s Original Gin House & we celebrate this every Sunday with our now infamous Gin Club.
